Hudl — Datapoints

• Public side navigation is different than private. Access to public side pages is via new browser windows. This can be disorienting.
• Overview screen seems very inefficient. Why can't I get immediate access to my video there? Feels web pagey not web appy.
• No confirmation on Logout. Missing opportunities here.
• Telestration tools need an undo, or a done setting. Should have the ability to clear last drawn shape. Arrows and other objects not draggable. Should probably also have an erase tool.
• Stop looping control not working in Chrome
• Text tool not working in fullscreen view
• Add video overlay leaves context. Somewhat disorienting to get back. Overlay function unclear.
• Don't understand why the playback control can be dragged further back than the green flag marker
• Branded colors are confusing the interface controls.
• Share modal: top input field — I didn't realize this was a search box. Thought it was a name field for the clip.
• Should users have the option to turn off tooltips?
• Presentation mode - woah! Where am I?
• Interface has poor sequences. User must become familiar with zones of the interface rather than sequential contexts
• Multiple side scroll bars pose usability problems.
• Better visual hierarchy is necessary
• Let controls breathe a little. Small fonts pose readability issues. Small hit targets.
• Top links all have in context behaviors except the manage link. This can be confusing and disorienting for novice users.
• Spot shadow tool can be dragged. No visual affordances are present to indicate this behavior. Other telestration tools cannot be dragged.
• Slow forward and reverse controls are spring loaded. Other controls are not. This means that while playing video these controls really function more like a stop.
• Is there a way to adjust playback speed?
• Highlight function is buggy. Search field label was initially not present in Chrome. Didn't realize this was a search field.
• First column header in bottom table was weird. Multiple mouse over hotspots for no apparent reason.
• Frequency icon not clear. Looks more like a bar chart tool.
• To edit column data user must double click. Same function does not exit this mode.
• Edit view control icons unclear. Look like video icons
• Reports - exit fullscreen label still reads "fullscreen"
• Pagination of clips not very visible or expected.
• Create reports is buggy. After initial creation I was unable to delete them until after I went to the manage page.
• Play control in bottom table should change to pause control after pressed.
• In video overlay tool — should be able to hold down shift to select multiple instead of one at a time
• Video editor install. Three dialogs at once. Takes very long. Unclear if it is in progress or if computer is locked up. Never did successfully install.
• Edit view modal has confusing two save functions
